Rehan has more than 10 years of experience in corporate matters, joint ventures, Mergers and Acquisitions, cross-border transactions, divestures, creating and vetting corporate structures and restructurings. She also has significant experience advising multinationals working in various industries with regards to their investments and doing business in Egypt.
In addition to her position as a Managing Associate at Shahid Law Firm, Rehan is also the Head of the Venture by Shahid; a department that is specialized within the Firm for providing legal services to startups.
Prior to re-joining Shahid Law Firm in 2018, Rehan worked as a Legal Affairs Manager at Gemini Egypt Holding for Financial Investments; a Sawiris Family Office Company, where she had advised several private sector entities in both local and international markets.
Rehan holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) Degree in International & Comparative Law from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) Degree from the Alexandria Faculty of Law.
Rehan is a member of the Egyptian Bar Association.
Rehan is also a board member and the secretary of the Boardof Trustees in Banati Foundation; an Egyptian organization that works on the protection of children at risk, children in streets situations, and children deprived from family care.
