On April 24, 2019, the European Union Delegation in Cairo held a meeting with Ms. Helena De Filippo, president of AFAEMME, a member of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC), Chairperson of the Euro-Mediterranean Follow-up Committee for Economic and Social Councils and similar institutions, and Mrs. Beatrice Boris, Economic and social development. EESC would like to organize a conference on Digitalization in Cairo from 22 to 23 October 2019 and requested the President of the Association to approve the organization of this conference, the first of its kind in Egypt, the main purpose being to encourage and provide space for the participation of civil society in Egypt and always emphasize the important role of partners Economic and social organizations in the region.
The invitation was addressed to the President and members of Businesswomen Of Egypt 21 to participate in the Mediterranean Conference of the Mediterranean Women Entrepreneurs Forum held by AFAEMME on 22 November 2019 in Barcelona in cooperation with the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce.
