Diplomacy magazine organizes the awards ceremony annually in recognition of the role and contributions of women in the advancement of the national economy, through active participation in various businesses and sectors.
Dr. Yomna El Sheridy earned the award because of her effective role in changing the stereotypes of Egyptian women, enhancing women’s economic participation and their integration in various business markets, which contributes fundamentally to the growth of the Egyptian economy.
In addition to her efforts and strategic plans for women entrepreneurs and her ongoing projects that aim to stimulate and develop women’s skills and capabilities, she also works on encouraging local products and handicrafts and enables them to compete with international standards.
