After living in Syria for several generations, in 1998 our family made a clear decision to permanently repatriate to Armenia along with establishing a family business to spread a bit of Eastern culture in our new homeland. In Middle East every detail matters which makes a family business a mini culture. You design everything on your own, with your hands, then pass the family recipes on to the successors. And when your business is in production, everything should be handmade. You pass on not only the secret recipes, but also special skills and techniques of handmade products to the next generation. These skills and recipes vary from family to family, and that is why every family business has its unique style and character. Being a part of this culture, we decided to create “Haleb” with an eastern recipe and with Armenian touch.

  • As an engineer worked in Aleppo city hall with Delegation from German government in rebuilding old Aleppo city for 5 years in Syria 1990-1995
  • As a math teacher for college students from 1985-1995 in Aleppo
  • As an adaptable Repat worked with women in arts (embroidery, ceramics , jewelry) , taking their products for an exhibition to USA ; Canada and Middle East 1999-2003
  • As a business owner from 2003 to this day
  • Board member at AYWA Armenia 2007/member at FCEM
  • Aleppo NGO for integration of Syrian Armenians 2012
  • Member at DWV in Yerevan2017,
  • Working with Impact Hub in different mentoring programs since 2018 especially with tourism and invitation which is funded by GiZ

-Mentor for Accelerate 2030 program & for the program “Bridge of CEO” funded by AGBU Armenia aiming to women empowerment
-Board member at “IRIS business incubator” funded by EU and Caritas Armenia since 2018
-As General Director at https://buyarmenian.com/ Yerevan office since 2021 to support and coach SME’s in Armenia
-Executive Board member in International Chamber of Commerce National Committee Armenia – ICC NCA
