Workshop outcome
H.E. Ambassador Laura Kansikas-Debraise welcomed a group of exceptional ladies in the field of development and empowerment of women at her residence. It was an opportunity to celebrate the work such leaders are doing to make Egypt a better, safer and more inclusive place for its women.
Finland has been taking ambitious actions to improve gender equality in different sectors of the Finnish society and it is important for us to acknowledge the efforts that Egyptians are exerting to achieve the same arduous task here.
The roundtable was also attended by Jenni Mikkola, Second Secretary at the Embassy, who highlighted Finland’s priorities in the field of development cooperation and economic empowerment of women.
