Our story begins at the end of the First World War in the industrial area of Monza. The Società Accomandataria Cooperativa Officine Meccaniche Monzesi company dates back to 1918 and includes a mechanical machining program for third parties. The company is breaking new ground and starting with the design and construction of machine tools, drills, lathes, milling machines, special purpose machines and above all centerless grinding machines. 1939 is a special year because it features technical designer Giovanni Salvioni in the scene of Officine Meccaniche Monzesi, who will later prove to be crucial to the
future of the company.
