The Speaker: Ms. Reem El Saady”EBRD Regional Principal Manager, SME Finance & Development. Egypt and Levant”
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) recognizes that the COVID‐19 pandemic and its economic consequences present an unprecedented challenge to the EBRD and its countries of operations. During the period of major disruption, it is vital to ensure that enterprises adapt to the challenges ahead. Entrepreneurs are expected to be disproportionately affected by the crisis due to sector concentration.
The Advice for Small Businesses (ASB) team support the economic transition, with a special focus on the women entrepreneurs through our Women in Business program ( WIB) in Egypt from 2013, by both achieving enterprise change in viable micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and developing sustainable infrastructures of business advisory services in the countries of operations of the EBRD.
The ASB toolkit includes basic diagnostic services, advisory services, on-going business coaching, mentoring, and networking, as well as the Entrepreneurial Skills Development Workshop series
They are providing fast & effective support to Egyptian SMEs throughout the #coronavirus crisis, EBRD is offering expert advice to help our clients manage their businesses during the crisis.
