In 1999, I formed Pandora Associates Limited as the Managing Director. Presently the number of work force of Pandora Associates Limited is around 100 employees. The company started its journey on 2nd May 1999 as a Private Limited Company incorporated in Bangladesh as per Company Act of 1994. Pandora Associates Limited and all its associate factories are controlled and managed under the leadership of mine.
In 2019, I formed Pandora Accessories Limited as the Managing Director with a view to support the export oriented garments factories in Bangladesh providing quality elastic, drawstring, lace, ribbon, label etc.. Pandora Accessories Limited is a locally owned setup but with high international standard garments accessories manufacturer & exporter company in Bangladesh.
I am also a Director of RENAISSANCE GROUP which is another renowned conglomerate of diverse business activities with major concentration in readymade garments manufacturing. The group manufactures and exports garment products in knits, woven and sweater. This Group started it’s business with a nominal capital with 850 work forces where maximum employees are women. As a successful entrepreneur I established my business and introduced true indigenous quality of all sorts of fashionable casual bottom wear (KNIT & WOVEN) Denim Canvas, Twill Corduroy, Pant Boxer Shorts, and Embroidery etc. Manufactured in Bangladesh for export to U.S.A. Germany, United Kingdom, Tokyo Japan and to other European countries of the world. Its garment operation is substantiated by its own knit fabric production, print and embroidery facilities. Renaissance Group exported a total of 175 million pcs of readymade garments worth USD 180 million in 2014 and expects to achieve an export target of nearly USD 300 million in 2015. The group employs a staggering 25,000 people to run its operations. Besides its core operation, the group has engagement in food, farming, dairy products, HR & Management consultancy, freight forwarding and general trading. The group indulges itself in promoting health care, education and sports for the youth as part of rendering its responsibilities towards achieving a balanced sustainability within the environment it operates.
I am the Chairperson of Jahan International School (a private Co-education English-Medium School for students from Playgroup to O’Level) & Jahan Ideal School (Under National Curriculum of Bangladesh). Its mission is to promote a deep rooted knowledge and involvement with national heritage, culture and language and the vision is to provide a balanced and well rounded education for those who chose quality education.
I have a great interest in continuous learning. So far I have completed 71 online courses from renowned foreign universities on Human Rights, Women Empowerment, Politics, Economics, Sustainable Development Goal (SDG), Leadership, Personal Development etc.
