Dr. Doaa Taha is a Professor of Analytics & Data Science at Harrisburg University of Science & Technology, where she teaches the Corporate Executive Format Masters courses and leads research efforts, aside from other academic governance imperatives. She is also an entrepreneur, having led a number of diversified global business development portfolios. Doaa is a Civil Society Leader and is the Chair of the American Arab Women’s Empowerment Forum; she is also a National Board Secretary of the ADC (American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee. Doaa was previously Senior Advisor, for its Middle East & North Africa Program, to the International Women’s Media Foundation (IWMF), coordinating its workshops in the Middle East (Turkey, Lebanon, UAE) and leading its delegation at the Arab Media Forum in Dubai. A George Washington University Doctoral Alumnus in Engineering Management and Systems Engineering. Before that, Doaa taught at The George Washington University’s School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS). Doaa is a published researcher, author and co-editor, on
a number of Academic and Professional areas of endeavor. She also is a member of the leading STEM global societies and a number of other professional and civil society associations (IEEE, WDC-WPN, USCC, IIBA, INFORMS, etc.).
